ARE YOUR PRODUCTS WATERPROOF?
We advise against wearing our products in wet areas, as they are not waterproof.
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY BAG?
We at POTAMY pride ourselves on using the highest quality materials to create our shoes, bags and accessories. We carefully select and test all the materials. To ensure you enjoy your favourite items to the full, we recommend that you follow the care instructions below.
- Do not overload your bags so that they retain their shape and structure.
- Prevent any contact of your POTAMY item with products and materials that may affect it (such as perfumes, cosmetics, creams, oils, antibacterial hand gels).
- Avoid exposing your product to sun and heat for a long time, as well as contact with water.
- If your bag got wet, remove excess water with a soft cloth and let the bag dry at room temperature.
- Suede, velour and nubuck products are very sensitive to moisture, do not use them in rainy weather.
- Please note that we recommend that you avoid light-coloured items coming into contact with dark-coloured clothes.

It is advisable to store your bag in its dust bags. Make sure that the bag takes its natural shape with no creases or folds. Use paper to maintain its shape.
Make sure that all straps or chains are inside the bag to prevent damage to the material. All clasps should be securely closed during storage.
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY SHOES?
We at POTAMY pride ourselves on using the highest quality materials to create our shoes, bags and accessories. We carefully select and test all the materials. To ensure you enjoy your favourite items to the full, we recommend that you follow the care instructions below.
- When putting on a pair of shoes, use a special shoe horn, and when taking your shoes off, do not step on the back of the shoe.
- Before putting on your shoes for the first time, it is advisable to treat them with a cream or a special protective spray. Apply these products to the entire leather surface of the shoe, including the heel trim and the end surface of the leather sole. Select products that are suitable for a specific type of material.
- It is not advisable to wear leather soled shoes in wet and rainy weather. Avoid getting the leather lining of the heel or platform wet, as it can lead to deformation and separation.
- Suede, velour and nubuck shoes are very sensitive to moisture, so do not wear them in rainy weather.
- If your shoes got wet, remove any excess water as soon as possible by blotting the shoes with a soft cloth. Dry them at room temperature away from heat sources and direct light, use shoe trees.
- It is not advisable to wear patent and artificial leather shoes at temperatures below -5°C and shoes with polyurethane soles at temperatures below -10°C, otherwise they may crack.

Follow the recommendations below and you will enjoy wearing your shoes for a long time.
- Regularly clean dust and dirt off your shoes using a soft damp cloth or brush.
- Apply a thin layer of cream or special conditioner to moisturise leather shoes and then polish them with a soft dry cloth or a special brush to keep the leather soft and supple.
- Leather heel trims and leather soles require the same care and protection as the upper side of your shoes.
- Do not clean suede, velour and nubuck shoes with water. If they get soiled, let them dry naturally and then remove dirt using special brushes.
- In the event of a slight dye transfer from the upper parts and lining of the shoes (fuzzy leathers: velour, nubuck, suede), we recommend using a special colour fixing agent.
- Shoes with patent leather upper and metallised leather should be cleaned of dust using a soft cloth.
- Do not use cleaning solutions or other aggressive agents as they may damage the leather.
